Finalists in Boston

The Cumberland Jr. Bandits AAA Minor Atom team ventured to Boston, Massachusetts  to participate in the New England Sports Centre - Spring Fling.

After a three game round robin, they finished with a perfect 3-0 record (against two New England teams and a New York team)  which was good for 1st place out of the 10 teams.

The Jr. Bandits were playing for the Gold championship.  After winning their semi-final game against a New Jersey team, they went on to the Gold Championship final  where they lost a hard fought battle against the Pro-Am Seal Team 2005 made up of US players from as far away as Dallas, Texas.

The team showed great determination and were great ambassadors for Canadian hockey.
