Champions at Maxtech Raccoons Showdown

The Cumberland Jr. Bandits AAA Minor Atom team wrapped up a successful Spring by winning the Maxtech Raccoons AAA Showdown Bronze Championship.
Despite a tough start, the Bandits won successive games against 613 Hockey, 67s (Bellfoy) and Westend Rockets to move on to the Championship game versus Rink Eye where the team garnered a hard fought 1-0 win.
 
This Championship, as well as being Finalists in both the Bandits Tournament and Spring Fling in Boston, Mass., exemplified the determination, hard work and achievement of an original roster of 16 young men from Cumberland hockey, backstopped by outstanding goaltending from Zack St-Denis.  Their success is a testament to team work, determination and having a lot of fun. 
 
The Jr. Bandits bench staff would like to congratulate all the boys, and a great group of supportive parents, on an exciting season of Spring hockey.
