Cumberland Bandits Round Up

A full weekend of round robin games lead to a spectacular Championship Weekend.

This year's tournament saw more teams then last season and players travelling further distances. 

We also had the pleasure of a visit from Royal Galipeau who is the Member of Parliament for the Ottawa—Orléans federal constituency, plus a visit from Bob Monette who is a City of Ottawa Councillor for Orleans. Both gentlemen took time to do ceremonial puck drops and speak with some of the families in attendance.

We also had a young man - Matthew MacPherson, set up a lemonade stand for the weekend to help raise money for cancer research in children as part of the Great Canadian Lemonade Standemonium. Matthew raised over $300 and would like to thank everyone who tried his lemonade and made a donation.

The results of all the finals are listed below, and shortly the pictures will be loaded into the 2014 Round Up Champions section.
